The alpine landscape bears its most beautiful side in Kastelruth and on the Seiser Alm (an Alpine meadow). Impressive mountain landscapes merge into the romantic idyllic scenery of wide alpine meadows and flower meadows. The nearby Seiser Alm offer mountain tours for all levels of difficulty. A 350km long network of hiking trails will lead you to enchanting and breath-taking locations, and the numerous mountain-bike paths will make any cyclist’s heart race. Whether it is climbing, swimming in the outdoor pool or in the picturesque Lake Völser Weiher, horse riding, playing golf, etc. – our holiday region provides recreation for every taste.

Our apartment block is the ideal starting point for numerous walks and hiking trails. From there you can, for example, walk along a beautiful path through meadows and forests to the exciting and idyllic Marinzen meadows with the petting zoo and children’s playground.  Whoever wants to go a little further up can walk directly from the Marinzen meadows to the lovely Puflatsch with its Alpine meadow roses and marvellous view over the Seiser meadows and the Dolomites.

In winter, the Seiser Alm are an impressive skiing location with 22 modern lifts, 60km of pistes for skiers and snowboarders, 80km of cross-country skiing trails amidst the most beautiful mountain panoramas, as well as various toboggan routes. Even snow-shoe and winter hikers will get their full money’s worth on well-prepared paths and will enjoy the snow-covered and sun-kissed mountain landscape.
